Mr. Dart was born on a farm south of Harrison, Arkansas. His father worked for the railroad and sang bass with the Melody Four Gospel Quartet. Ron started school in a one room schoolhouse in Gaither, Arkansas and graduated from high school in Houston, Texas where he met his wife to be, Allie Driver. He joined the Navy during the Korean War in 1952, achieving the rank of petty officer first class in four years.
After the Navy, Ron attended Hardin Simmons University in Abilene, Texas and Ambassador College in California, earning his master’s degree. He taught speech, Old Testament Survey, and Epistles of Paul at the college level in England. He served as a church pastor, and in church administration before attending the University of Texas, Austin to work on his doctor’s degree in communications.
Three trips around the world added interesting insights into Ron’s world and biblical view. After retiring from teaching and church administration in 1995, Ron started Christian Educational Ministries and the Born to Win radio program. He has authored several books and has CD sermons available on virtually every book in the Bible.
